| Owner Description: | This ranch has been under an intensive game management program for 20 years. Awards include Grazing Management in 1998 and the Texas Lone Star Land Steward Award in 1999. Our family ranch has been featured on a number of TPWD videos as well as Texas Trophy Hunters and other hunting programs. In addition to whitetail deer herd management, the ranch also conducts prescribed burns, reduces cedar and hog invasion and lightly rotates cattle. Exotics are also lightly stocked, but whitetail deer management has been the primary focus. We are seeking experienced hunters and their families or a small corporate group who have some knowledge of deer management and wish to continue our ongoing program. Each hunter may harvest 1 mature whitetail buck, 1 spike, 2 doe, 1 Turkey, Hogs and Varmints. Guests limited to family. Travel Trailers are allowed with onboard septic. 5 Double Blinds and Automatic Feeders are provided. Lease begins Sept. 1 and ends with the regular TPWD season in January. An Exotic buck my be harvested with landowner permission for an additional discounted fee. |
