| Owner Description: | We have 368 acres of mainly rolling hills and pastureland with mesquite, cedar and several other types of browse located near Robert Lee in Coke County. There is a 10-acre small-grain field for grazing along with seven wildlife food plots located throughout our ranch. We have eight automatic wildlife feeders along with a protein gravity-flow feeder. Our management program was established in 1999, feeding year-round, utilizing grain and protein depending on the wildlife nutritional needs. We provide maintenance/upkeep so our hunters can enjoy just hunting. Harvest allowance per hunter: 3 Whitetail deer(1 good buck 8pts or better/1 cull buck-spike-doe/1 mature doe), 2 Rio Grande turkey, blue/bobwhite quail, mourning/white-winged dove and a good variety of varmints. Hunters may take fall turkey or spring turkey option or elect not to hunt turkey. Family/Guests are welcome. We are looking for 2-3 hunters to fill our season lease( Father/son group have 2 spots taken leaving 2-3 spots available). Our lease includes us furnishing the following: 1. Feed 2. Feeders (maintenance and upkeep) 3. Blinds and hunting stands 4. Mineral supplements 5. Field and food plots 6. RV/trailer hook-up/campground area --Camping trailers $100.00 each/season with a limit of 3 campers). $2000.00 per gun without turkey hunting or $2500.00 per gun with turkey hunting option. |
