Montana ranch

Large Montana ranch available for archery elk , antelope and whitetail hunting. Available August 15-Sept 17, includes first two weeks of archery elk season. Archery antelope and cow elk shoulder season begins August 15 on most of ranch. All continous, good water on property, pivots, irrigated fields draw the animals in, with great tiimbered draws and ridges for bedding and loafing areas. All NR must apply for tags by April 1, 2021. 6000 acres of ranch is located in a general draw area for elk, 39000 acres is located in a limited entry district that requires the 900-20 tag for both elk and antelope which must be drawn for, preference and bonus points can be needed. Please refer to the Montana regulations for questions. One should expect to hunt elk in the 300-360 class, with bulls over 400 being taken in the last 5 years. This is truly one of the special ranches in the state of Montana, and rarely is a lease like this available. The Lessee will also have access to the cow elk shoulder season that runs till Feb. 15, in the months of January and Feb., these tags are available thru drawing or surplus over the counter have been available in years prior. A person may purchase up to 2 elk b tags if surplus exist. RV electric hookups and a small bunkhouse are part of the lease.The 6$40,000 is for the entire monthy lease from August 15-Sept. 17. Max of 6 hunters at any one time, harvest quota of 6 bull elk over 5 pts. 4 under 5pts, 12 cow elk, 10 antelope, 4 whitetails, whitetails are present, but not numerous, NO MULE DEER HUNTING .
