Nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, this storied cattle ranch has been in the same family for nearly a century — a testament to the land's enduring quality and the careful stewardship that comes with it. The Lease: This is an exclusive, single-group lease for up to 6 hunters (guest are allowed and must execute liability waiver upon entrance to ranch) — no split leases, no strangers sharing your camp. We are looking for a committed group seeking a long-term home, just like the last tenants who called this place theirs for a decade and a half. Our family still hunts a portion of the ranch located east of the county road traversing the ranch.  This lease includes approximately 1,500 acres located west of the county road, with private hunting camp secluded and near county road access.  Yes, a guest or your child may harvest an animal, however, this will count toward that hunter's ranch limit for the year.  6 total trophy bucks per year (6 hunters).  Wounded animals will count as harvest.

Season Access: Whitetail archery season through the end of regular season( no special seasons) for whitetail and turkey (including spring season). Off-season property access is available with permission/notice for camp and feeder maintenance.

Hunting Rules: This lease honors the traditions of the Texas Hill Country. All hunting is from blinds — *** no hunting from vehicles or UTVs permitted ***.

8 cottonseed feeders & 2 protein feeders kept full year round , 3 covered tower stands, 2 others stands & a couple of portable stands that need seats. 4th generation  ranch that is well watered. 9.5 acres of alfalfa & 10 acres of wheat/tritacale mix. This ranch has really not been hunted in the last 4 years except for1 hunter that has come out for 33 yrs.from East Bernard. He has won the heaviest dressed division 3 times in the Trans Pecos Big Buck Tournament.We only had 2 hunters last year & both killed nice deer within the first week. The previous year(2024)  we only took the one hunter & he killed out early.

Accommodations are a Morgan building converted to a hunting cabin that sleeps 4, camp stove , refrigerator, microwave, tv,heater , ac, sink, & table. Bathroom is in another building with sink, shower, toilet,& heater.Fishing Pond out front that has some bass, catfish & perch. BBQ pit.

Our total Private Hunting Membership are limited on purpose to approximately 80% of our capacity and by how active our members are. We have all types of members. Most are 50-80 years old and hunt an average of 12-14 days per year and are looking for a no hassle place to hunt where stands, feeders and feed are provided.

They enjoy a hunting lease with “customer service”. We do have members that use all of their days and even add more days to their membership. Not all of our members are focused on whitetail. We have members interested in bird and waterfowl only, or exotics only or even just our great fishing. We even have members that have yet to shoot anything.

Our Members just like a great place to go for hunting season and fellowship around the campfire.

Members Reserve a 2 or 4 night private lodging unit and hunting area either online or by phone on a property that they are interested or familiar with. Reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance. Very similar to reserving on VRBO or AirBnB or most Hotel reservation websites.

All lodges are run like a Bed & Breakfast with a host couple that cook, clean and assist members.

Each property has the capacity for 7 -10 different members with their families or guests.

Private Lodging varies in capacity from a one bedroom unit that sleep 2 up to a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit that sleeps 10. Members reserve the lodging unit that best suits their needs.

All Hunting areas include from 1 up to 4 Stand and feeder combinations that you may hunt exclusively during your stay. They vary in size from 150 acres up to 300 acres depending on the ranch.

Directions to the Ranches, Maps of hunting areas, pictures of lodging are all provided online.

Pre Scouting days are available if necessary prior to making reservations. Or call by phone for guide advice. We also post game cam pictures prior to the season online.

Assistance is available at each location for retrieving or processing game. Should you need it.

All lodges have fully stocked kitchens and outside bbq pits if you want to cook for yourselves.

Meal services are available at each lodge if desired. Homestyle Breakfast, Lunch and Dinners. Pay as you go, just like a restaurant. $10 Breakfast, $10 Lunch, $20 Dinner. Under 13 eat free..

Some of our properties are under MLD3 Deer management and we hunt with a rifle from October until February. On these ranches you use our ranch tags and not the ones from your hunting license.

Most of our stands will be able to accommodate 2-3 people. Shots are generally not more than 100yds

I am the owner of .30-06 Hunting Club. We run 20 members on 2,000 acres, located in Hardin County in the town of Honey Island, TX. We are a family deer club, where women and children are accepted. I have a management team that aids in sustaining and developing our deer herd, property and family culture, as we move forward into our 31st year. We harvest quality deer, hogs, bobcats and coyotes mostly, more importantly we make memories with our families and friends. There is nothing like telling them ole stories around the campfire, seeing who brings back the biggest deer to camp. Every man should experience seeing his child harvesting game, pride and emotion will overwhelm you. Nothing beats spending time in the woods with your loved ones. I look forward to hunting with all our members, one day passing this deer club down to my children to run. No power onsite we use generators, we provide skinning racks. We have a large campsite for campers, RV’s or tents. There is 365 days of hunting access, good roads all year. Each paying member gets one area to hunt, the hunting parcels are turnkey formats and established, we don’t micromanage the number of deer stands and feeders each member can have in their hunting area, it’s up to the member. We go with the Hardin County bag limit of 4 deer per member, with mandatory protein feeding, hog panel program and only harvesting 3,5-year-old deer and older. A free guest harvest 4-day weekend is available, Thursday-Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend, each member can bring one guest to hunt their spot for the 4 days only. Guest must have a valid TX hunting license, each guest can harvest one legal deer, unlimited hogs and predators during the 4 days. Spouse and immediate children 18 years old and under, in school, hunt free at no additional charge from the member's hunting spot. Planting and a water source are highly recommended at your hunting spot. We have annual clean up days, meetings and brush hog days. After phone interview and property tour, potential member may have the opportunity to join the club, every member receives the gate combination, GPS pin to parcel and bylaw rules/contract to sign for record keeping. Surveillance cameras are utilized onsite, we maintain close relationships with the local State Game Wardens. My Grandpa was my hero and my hunting partner, we will continue to honor his vision of having an affordable and safe place for families to make memories. Only serious enquiries, this is not a beer lease, everything in moderation. Drama free hunting zone. We maintain an active prospect waiting list and utilize a vetting/interview process. $1475 per year.

MLD WT Season runs October through February

 Coleman Airport has a 4,500 ft paved runway.  Abilene Regional Airport is close.  

For 2026  the lease will be from March 1 through February 2027

Package hunts for whitetail bucks, does, axis deer and black buck antelope and turkey. 450 high fenced Acres in Texas Hill Country close to Harper Texas. Ranch is rolling hills cleared of all cedar.  Rifle hunting only. Price is per animal based on size of trophy and doe hunting is based on per doe. This is a day hunt lease and it works like this.....you pay $350 hunt fee per day, per person to hunt and if you harvest your animal the hunt fee is waived.   Dayhunt package includes 2 hunts, 1 morning and 1 evening hunt per day to hunt for the animal of your choice and B&C score. You are guaranteed to have a reasonable opportunity to harvest the animal of your choice.   If you are successful, and harvest an animal of your choice,  you only pay the published harvest fee or agreed to price before the hunt less one (1) days hunt fee. ( If an animal is wounded, We will try to find it but if it can not be retrieved, it will be counted as a Harvest and the full fee will be applied).   You will be required to make a deposit for the hunt.  Whitetail doe hunts available for $300 per doe.. Axis and blackbuck doe hunts available for $475 per doe. Cull/Mgmt Bucks $750, Trophy WT hunts quoted upon request, Average Axis and Blackbuck males $750, Trophy Axis Bucks (32"+)  $2750 and Black buck males (15"+) $2750. Turkeys $150 ea. Animals with lessor scores are also available at a quoted price.  Limited number available so make reservations and deposits early. We have some fine trophy axis and black bucks.  We may also have some trophy black bucks with broken horns that we sell to hunters for only $750.  These black bucks are true trophies and taxidermists can repair or replace horns for very little extra.....well worth the cost if you are looking for a trophy for the wall, and meat in the freezer. We have cleaning area with hanging rack, stainless steel cutting table and water for caring for your game. Natural Hill Country setting with low-fencing to ensure genetic diversity.  Not a deer farm, but natural hunting in a natural environment on a working ranch.  Bunk house with bathroom and kitchen, and RV hook-ups.  Feed room, lighted skinning rack and walk-in cooler.  Box blinds and feeders available for use, or you may bring your own.  Close to Hill Country State Natural Area and Lost Maples State Park.  Non-hunting guests are allowed with prior permission and a day fee.  To keep the number of hunters low, there is absolutely no lease sharing;  each hunter pays a lease fee.  You will not find a non-paying hunter in your blind or your bunk.  Hunters limited to 13 for the lease.  Looking for mature hunters to add to our current responsible and respectful group .  Absolutely no alcoholic beverages on the lease.  If you will email me, I'll send you more information. 

Exotics are present on the ranch, including fallow, axis, sika, aoudad, hogs and elk.  There is no extra fee for exotics. 

Lease is for the regular white-tail season.  No bow hunting.  No extended season.  Spring hunts available after hunters complete a white-tail sesaon, at the owner's discretion and for an extra fee.

Hunters may not live at the property for the entirety of the season;  hunting on weekdays, weekends and holidays.
