Here is your chance for superior dove hunting between Austin and San Antonio. This ranch is a 4,000 acre working ranch and farming operation just outside of New Braunfels. Situated just southwest of the city limits, parts of the ranch touch the northbound I35 frontage road, while 95% of the ranch stretches southward on the Blackland Prairie. We are managing for white-winged and mourning doves by planting two milo fields totaling 90 acres. The area supports large numbers of birds which roost in surrounding towns and feed in rural areas. Those areas that provide readily available and abundant food attract the most birds. Based on our success over the years, we are expanding our operation.
We are looking for groups of 20 hunters per group (no day hunters) to lease the two fields for the 2026-27 dove season. The cost per group of 20 hunters will be $13,000 for the season. For more information, please contact.

Accommodations are a Morgan building converted to a hunting cabin that sleeps 4, camp stove , refrigerator, microwave, tv,heater , ac, sink, & table. Bathroom is in another building with sink, shower, toilet,& heater.Fishing Pond out front that has some bass, catfish & perch. BBQ pit.

MLD WT Season runs October through February

 Coleman Airport has a 4,500 ft paved runway.  Abilene Regional Airport is close.  

For 2026  the lease will be from March 1 through February 2027

Veteran Owned lease is available as a weekend lease. Cabin included, along with electricity (Geneator) ;and water ;Open for Dove and Turkey Season at $150.00 a day Cabin Included, also open for Hog Hunts at $150.00 a day (2 day minimum) Cabin included. Also available for Whitetail Deer and Axis, at $700.00 per gun (2 hunters minimum) Cabin included (Just for the Weekend ONLY). Axis Deer Hunt in the Whitetail Off Season $800.00 (Weekend ONLY) The lease had a good harvest last season with 4 kills (Whitetail) by hunters. Average of 85% sucess rate. I have the photos, will be available upon your request. I have proposed a limit on the lease at 2 Hunters allowed: 1 Buck, 1 Doe per gun, for Wildlife Conservation.
