The season starts on the opening day as per Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and ends December 31 current year.  It is a 1 buck and two does lease with no limit on hogs or coyotes.  A paid hunter can bring family and friends during the off season.  This is a working cattle ranch and cattle will be on premises.

SEASONAL HUNTING LEASE- AXIS DEER  & WHITETAIL DEER & TURKEY

Gillespie County, 5 miles from Fredericksburg, TX.

Approximately 200 acres of lease land. Landowners have 450 acres total so there is plenty of hunting privacy.

Specified days of hunting (57 total) in the months of October, November, December 2026.

Hunting dates are:

10/3/26 – 10/12/26

11/1/26 – 11/24/26

11/30/26 – 12/22/26

Paid Lease Hunters are allowed on the property for prep/set up/feeding beginning 9/19/26. 

Lease cost is $16,000 for up to 4 hunters in your single group

$10,000 is due at the time of lease execution; $6,000 is due 7/1/26

HARVEST QUOTA PER HUNTER:

A total of 5 deer per hunter

1 WT buck, 1 axis buck, & 3 does (combination of WT & axis…2+1 or 1+2)

(This makes the total # of deer for a group of 4 hunters = 20 deer = 5 x 4)

1 turkey

Optional Trophy buck (either WT or Axis) for $2,500 extra--payment due at time of harvest (basically, this is a 3^rd buck that the hunter would like to get AFTER he has already gotten his quota of bucks, so the definition of a “trophy” is from the hunter’s perspective)

GUESTS

Guests are allowed—one guest per hunter.  A guest could be a friend, spouse, child or other family member. If a guest shoots a deer, that count comes off the lease host hunter’s quota. Hunter may rotate different guests each hunt, such as Child/Friend #1 one time, and Child/Friend #2 another time.

BLINDS AND FEEDERS

Hunters must provide their own blinds & feeders. One ground blind is available. Feeder pens are available for your use. They are made of hog panel and then barbed wire at the top.

CABIN

Recently renovated hunting cabin is included throughout the lease & offers a full kitchen, bathroom (sink, toilet, shower), 3 twin bunk beds (total of 6 beds), table, chairs, water, electricity, HVAC, 2 covered porches & lighted, electric gambrel for deer cleaning. A fully refundable cabin cleaning fee of $150 is required upon execution of the lease; this deposit will be mailed back to the Lead Hunter after passing cabin inspection after lease ends.

The cabin is not included during prep days; only for the hunting lease days.  However if your group finds lodging necessary during prep days, it is possible that the cabin could be available for rent while here for prep days.

DESCRIPTION OF LEASE LAND

The lease land is wooded pastureland. A creek runs throughout the property. There are 2 ponds/tanks on the lease property.  Trees:  oaks, mesquite, cedar, pecan, other. All fencing is low-fenced (including the neighbors) and one lease land boundary is the Palo Alto Creek.

We’re leasing 82 quiet acres of private land, primarily timber, recently logged creating excellent open areas and habitat ideal for roosting and feeding, a winding creek and a nice pond in Adair county MO for hunting during Spring Turkey hunting, 2026.

Package hunts for whitetail bucks, does, axis deer and black buck antelope and turkey. 450 high fenced Acres in Texas Hill Country close to Harper Texas. Ranch is rolling hills cleared of all cedar.  Rifle hunting only. Price is per animal based on size of trophy and doe hunting is based on per doe. This is a day hunt lease and it works like this.....you pay $350 hunt fee per day, per person to hunt and if you harvest your animal the hunt fee is waived.   Dayhunt package includes 2 hunts, 1 morning and 1 evening hunt per day to hunt for the animal of your choice and B&C score. You are guaranteed to have a reasonable opportunity to harvest the animal of your choice.   If you are successful, and harvest an animal of your choice,  you only pay the published harvest fee or agreed to price before the hunt less one (1) days hunt fee. ( If an animal is wounded, We will try to find it but if it can not be retrieved, it will be counted as a Harvest and the full fee will be applied).   You will be required to make a deposit for the hunt.  Whitetail doe hunts available for $300 per doe.. Axis and blackbuck doe hunts available for $475 per doe. Cull/Mgmt Bucks $750, Trophy WT hunts quoted upon request, Average Axis and Blackbuck males $750, Trophy Axis Bucks (32"+)  $2750 and Black buck males (15"+) $2750. Turkeys $150 ea. Animals with lessor scores are also available at a quoted price.  Limited number available so make reservations and deposits early. We have some fine trophy axis and black bucks.  We may also have some trophy black bucks with broken horns that we sell to hunters for only $750.  These black bucks are true trophies and taxidermists can repair or replace horns for very little extra.....well worth the cost if you are looking for a trophy for the wall, and meat in the freezer. We have cleaning area with hanging rack, stainless steel cutting table and water for caring for your game. Spring turkey hunts offered March 28th 2026 - May 10th 2026with a shotgun on 1100 acres. Two day hunt (noon on Friday to noon on Sunday is two days). We do hunt all days of the week. 750.00 per hunter One bird bag limit. Additional bird for 650.00. Guest are 100.00 for same two days. Includes lodging but no meals. Bring food and drinks and have some fun.
