Hemphill County Hunting Leases

Hemphill County is in the Panhandle/High Plains wildlife district, on the Oklahoma border about 120 miles northeast of Amarillo. The county comprises 904 square miles of rolling plains with the town of Canadian as its county seat. The county has various game species for hunting including White-tailed Deer, Mule Deer, Hog, Quail, Pheasant, Turkey, Predators, Dove, Crane, Duck and Goose. Local attractions include the Gene Howe WMA, the Lyman and Buffalo Wallow Battlegrounds, and various cultural events and points of interest.
