Shackelford County Hunting Leases

Shackelford County is in the North Central Texas wildlife district, with the town of Albany as its county seat. The county encompasses 887 square miles of predominantly mesquite and chaparral savanna and is located about 35 miles northeast of Abilene. There are various game species for hunting including White-tailed Deer, Hog, Quail, Turkey, Predators, Dove, Crane, and Duck.
